Rent Well
Shamrock Community & Property Management participates in the Rent Well program. For more information on this program, please click the link on the left.
Insurance
Shamrock Community & Property Management requires that all tenant’s carry renter’s insurance in the amount of $100,000 or more. Your renter’s insurance policy will cover your property, as well as your liability in cases where you, as the tenant, are responsible for a loss. This helps protect the property owner, but also protects you as the tenant so that you are able to cover the deductible on an insurance loss that you, your dependents, or guests may cause. The deductible on a rental property claim can be as high as $50,000 in some cases, and we want you to be covered in case of an accidental loss.
Damage to renter’s property due to an insurance loss, whether caused by the tenant or not, is often not covered by the property owner’s policy; having a renter’s insurance policy that covers your belongings is important and will help you, as a tenant, have peace of mind. You can usually contact your auto insurance provider for a quote for renter’s insurance if you do not already have it; they can often provide an affordable policy to you. You will want to be sure that you include Shamrock Community & Property Management as an “interested party” on the policy. All tenants must provide a copy of their insurance policy before the move-in date.
You may be exempt from this requirement if your meet specific qualifications regarding income. Please contact us for more information regarding this exemption.
Pet Policy
Our pet policy varies by unit. Pet restrictions are noted on each available unit listing. You can download a generic copy of our pet policy using the link to the left. Please note if a pet is allowed in the unit, there will be a pet deposit required before move-in and will be noted in the unit listing.
Equal Housing Opportunity
Shamrock Community & Property Management believes that everyone has a right to discrimination free housing and is an Equal Housing Opportunity housing provider. We encourage you to visit the Fair Housing Council of Oregon’s (FHCO) website for more information about your rights as a tenant, and about Fair Housing laws. We look forward to working with you, and to the possibility of being your next housing provider!
